What it is
Three drags stacked before the triplet and closing accent. The longest ratamacue and the fortieth rudiment on the PAS sheet.
How to practice it
Three identical drags in a row is an endurance test. If drag two or three starts crunching into a buzz, slow down. Each one has to stay a clean, open double. Chain single, double, and triple ratamacues in one exercise, because that is the order they come in solos anyway.
Where you'll hear it
Exhibition solos and corps features. It usually shows up at the end of a ratamacue chain.
