What it is
Like Drag Paradiddle #1 with a second drag added: accent, drag, drag, then the paradiddle finishes. Six main notes, two drags.
How to practice it
Same advice as #1, doubled: the two consecutive drags must match each other exactly. Isolate 'accent, drag, drag' as its own loop before attaching the paradiddle tail. This is one of the longest standard rudiments, so slow tempos matter here more than anywhere.
Where you'll hear it
Rudimental solos and exhibition snare work. You will rarely play it as written on the kit, but the drag control carries over to everything.
