Double Ratamacue drum notation with sticking

What it is

A ratamacue with an extra dragged note on the front: two drags, then the triplet into the accent.

How to practice it

Build it straight from the single ratamacue: play the extra dragged note as a pickup, then run the figure you already know. Both drags need the same width and softness. The phrase is longer so the ending accent matters even more; do not let it flatten out.

Where you'll hear it

Traditional rudimental solos and drum corps roll-offs, usually chained with singles and triples in sequence.

All 40 rudiments are built into DrumLock free, with this notation on screen, a metronome, and a speed trainer that ramps the BPM while you play. No ads, no subscriptions.
