Three doubles and a release note. Traditionally starts off the beat and resolves onto a downbeat accent.
Treat it as a pickup. The six roll notes pull you into the accent. Count the target note out loud so the roll always has a target to land on. Work both lead hands, keep the doubles open and even at first, and only close them up once the timing holds.
Solos, drum corps, and any concert or marching part where a roll lands on a downbeat.
