What it is
Two doubles and a single: five notes, ending with an accent. The shortest of the standard numbered rolls and the most common one in real charts.
How to practice it
Phrase it into the beat. The classic frame is two 16th note doubles landing on an 8th note accent. Practice starting on both hands, and make the ending accent intentional rather than just louder by accident. 70 to 100 BPM covers the useful learning range.

March and rudimental snare parts constantly, plus short crush-roll fills in country, rock, and pit percussion.
