Inverted Flam Tap

What it is
A flam followed by a tap on the opposite hand, so the grace-note hand immediately becomes the next primary. The inversion makes it far trickier than the regular flam tap.
How to practice it
After playing a grace note low, that same hand has to pop up right away for the next full stroke. That is the hard part. Go slow, 50 BPM in 8ths, and watch your stick heights the entire time. It is on a lot of audition lists because it tells the judges in one bar whether you control your heights.
