What it is
A paradiddle-diddle with a flam on the first note, written alternating: six notes per group, two diddles inside.
How to practice it
Three skills stacked: flam quality, diddle evenness, and the sextuplet phrase. Build it in that order. Flam alone, then flam plus singles, then add the diddles. As a sextuplet at 50 to 70 BPM it sounds like a rolling six; that smooth roll is the goal, not speed.
Where you'll hear it
Drum corps and concert snare literature, plus gospel-style sextuplet phrases with a flammed downbeat.
