Five notes: a flam, then an accent on the SECOND note, two more taps, and a closing flam. The off-front accent gives it a lopsided, funky character.
Everything here is the accent placement. Every other flam rudiment accents the flammed note; this one accents the note after it. Practice the four-note group first with the accent on two, then add the flams back in. Keep the closing flam quiet or it steals the phrase.
Traditional rudimental solos and old-school drum corps. On the kit it makes a sneaky displaced-accent fill.
